Welcome to the Racine Police Explorer Post 286. We are a branch of the Racine Police Department headed up by our youth officers and advisors. Our post has been in existence since 1969 and several of our members have moved on to law enforcement or medical roles. We meet at the Racine Police Department every Wednesday at 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Where is the Police Department, well click here to find out. Some of the events we participate in yearly are; Harbor Fest, Pancake Day, Lighthouse Run, Animal Crackers, the Fourth of July (parade and fireworks), and many more. To join you need to be between the ages of 14 and 20 and have an interest in learning about law enforcement or the emergency services. We offer yearly courses in first aid or first responder training as well as participating in several competitions through out the year.
